Youth life-skills programme

The ChildFund team was so thrilled in August to meet with some of the enthusiastic youth who will participate in our new youth skills programme. The programme has begun and includes building blocks learning and life-skills courses along with courses in making scoop nets, weaving and sewing.

The excited participants had lots of questions and couldn't wait to get started.

ChildFund's youth life-skills programme is possible with funding from the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Kiwi supporters and promotes social and emotional wellbeing for youth.

Anyone interested in joining the programme can visit the ChildFund office in Betio and register your name. For now, please join us in wishing the new recruits all the best not only in their personal learning journey but also in preserving our Kiribati heritage through traditional crafts.
